Music and entertainment on board : DJ, live band or playlist

After the boat, the date and the caterer, another element often makes the difference between a nice evening and a memorable one: music. On board, it requires a slightly different setup than on land, given the available space and navigation constraints.

A prepared playlist, a DJ, or a live band: three levels of organization

• A playlist prepared in advance — the simplest solution, played through our onboard sound system: ideal for a dinner, a corporate cocktail, or an event where music stays in the background.
• DJ — the most common choice for a festive evening (birthday, bachelorette/bachelor party, wedding): the DJ adjusts the mood live based on the crowd and drives the key moments (arrival, first dance, end of the evening).
• Live band — a rarer but highly appreciated choice for a wedding or an upscale event, requiring more space and technical setup to plan for.

What our onboard sound system allows

Our boats come with integrated audio equipment (amp, player, wireless microphone), sufficient for a playlist, speeches, or a DJ bringing their own mixing gear. For a live band or a more substantial setup, the available space and power supply vary by boat — a point to confirm with us once the type of entertainment is decided.

Bringing your own provider or using our partners

You can bring in a DJ or band of your choice, or ask us to recommend providers used to the constraints of an onboard event (limited space, loading equipment, timing around navigation). This second option often simplifies coordination on the day.

What to plan for timing

The music provider generally needs to board before your guests to set up their equipment — a detail to factor into the event's overall schedule. We coordinate this with you and the crew so the setup doesn't delay the rest of the group's boarding.
